George Foreman Grill

I got this at goodwill for under three bucks. I was skeptical but have been hearing rumors in the zeitgeist that like air poppers for DIY coffee roasters, this is a real must have item for DIY bread makers. So I whipped up a batch of dough. Good flour, sea salt, yeast, nothing else but warm water. And waited for it to properly rise for 10 hours. Then when the midnight munchies arrived i took a mini fist full of dough and flattened it to the size of a small dinner plate. I placed it in little Foreman and let it bake. Literally 8 minutes later i had a crenulated golden brown piece of cooked bread. I slathered it with some local butter and blackberry jam. No words describe the joy that passed to my taste buds.
